My Uncle Harry was an unusual man. He was always kind and at the same time he was also temperamental. He loved children but he disliked their noisy ways. He could not stand loud, unnecessary noise or could he bear the discordant sounds of some modern music. He not only watched television
but also allowed his children to watch it. He not only disapproved of television and of movies. His idea of fun was to read the encyclopedia to his children so they became very wise at early ages. His goal as to read everything that had been written however he did not succeed. He felt that he had to read furthermore he would always be half educated. He wanted to buy books therefor he believed in thrift. In his old age he became ill moreover his eyes grew weak. The doctor told him not to read consequently Uncle Harry lost interest in life. He began to watch either television or films. This was bad for his eyes besides he said the doctor only told him not to read. Uncle Harry
was an unusual man but we loved him
